After being in the waste equipment industry for over 35 years, we know exactly what it takes to, thoroughly, clean and sanitize this equipment. Over time, flammable sludge cake builds up inside the compactor and it becomes extremely dirty.
Compactor cleaning is a necessary step in preventative maintenance. We lock-out and tag-out the equipment before the cleaning begins. Prior to washing, the compactors are dry cleaned using a hand scraper. When it is time to wash, we bag all electrical equipment, degrease the compactor, and thoroughly, pressure wash the compactor and room. When completed, having used our Freshwave IAQ and ECOSORB products (available for sale, see MJW Odour Solutions), we neutralize all excess odour leaving it smelling fresh and clean.
Regardless of the height of your building, we have the appropriate equipment to complete the job. Using a 12" or 14" chute cleaner, we send this device from the bottom floor to the very top floor. This chute cleaner is hooked up to our high-pressure power washers. Heavy duty (environmentally friendly and biodegradable) degreasers and odour control products are used in the cleaning process.
Inspections of chute liner, fire damper & garbage chute door flaps can be performed per request.
Detail of chute doors and full walls can be performed per request.
Bins like compactors are, initially, dry cleaned. The interior and exterior is then hand scraped. Following the dry cleaning, a high power wash takes place using heavy duty (environmentally friendly and biodegradable) degreasers. When completed, the bin is left smelling fresh and clean by neutralizing all excess odours with our Freshwave IAQ and ECOSORB products (available for sale, see MJW Odour Solutions).
